WWE has revealed the specific injuries both Big E and Sasha Banks suffered last week on SmackDown.
On its official website, the company put out another storyline update to the current condition for both wrestlers. In a previous update, it was mentioned that both were discharged from the hospital and are recovering at home.
In a separate update, WWE revealed that Banks has suffered a severe bone bruise in her knee and a compressed nerve in her neck while Big E suffered multiple lacerations and moderate-to-severe bruised ribs.

We can also confirm that Big E suffered multiple lacerations and moderate-to-severe bruised ribs after the backstage assault by Sheamus.
Banks was viciously attacked by Bayley after the two of them lost a WWE Women's Tag Team Title rematch against current champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Banks and Bayley lost the titles to Baszler and Jax back at Payback in late August.
Big E was ambushed by Sheamus right before the two of them were supposed to compete in a four-way match where the winner got a Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions. Jey Uso replaced Big E and won the four-way match to get the title shot against Reigns.
