WWE has provided a medical update on Big E.
On the newest episode of Talking Smack, Kayla Braxton shared that the Intercontinental Champion suffered a Brachial Plexus injury that has resulted in temporary arm weakness. He is currently recuperating at home.
This injury came as the result of an attack by Apollo Crews following his loss to Shinsuke Nakamura on the February 19 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Big E stepped in to prevent a vicious post-match beatdown but was instead hit in the back with steel steps. Then, after the referee stopped Apollo from using the stairs inside the ring, he threw them to the outside and directly onto the IC Champion. Big E was stretchered out of the arena.
Apollo appeared on Talking Smack but offered no comment for his actions. In fact, he didn't say a single word during his entire appearance. Paul Heyman asked if he had heeded his advice or if his time with Roman Reigns was enlightening, to which no reply was given, but after more silence, Apollo nodded at Heyman and walked off the set.
"It ain't over until I say it's over."
