WWE SmackDown Results (5/15)

• Trick Williams, with Lil Yachty and the Gamecock mascot by his side, has his South Carolina homecoming. Trick reminisced about his time in South Carolina, playing for the Gamecocks, and gave a shoutout to his family sitting ringside. Trick is interrupted by The Miz and Kit Wilson. Kit reads a poem slamming Trick. Yachty raps a response with the punchline being that Miz has tiny balls. Miz says he’s going to whoop Trick, and Trick clears the ring.

• In a backstage interview, Carmelo Hayes says Trick Williams and Sami Zayn made a mockery of the US Title. Ricky Saints interrupts. Hayes says Saints will be humbled.
• Rey Fenix speaks with Nick Aldis. Sami Zayn walks up and wants another shot at the US Title. Aldis tells him he has to earn it. Fenix wonders what is up with Sami, who says he’s still the same.
• Brie Bella and Paige speak ahead of their match. They are interrupted by Lash Legend & Nia Jax, who says they will get their titles back at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
• Paige & Brie Bella def. Kiana James & Giulia
• Tiffany Stratton says she is just fine on her own. Giulia and Kiana James argue in the background. Chelsea Green interrupts, Stratton says they are never meant to be a team.
• Cody Rhodes calls out Gunther for the contract signing. Gunther says Cody is making everything about himself and that Cody needs to address him nicely. Cody tells Gunther to get in the ring and “please” sign the contract. Royce Keys interrupts and says if Gunther won’t sign the contract, he will. Keys goes to sign the contract, but Gunther cuts him off. Nick Aldis announces Gunther will face Keys with the winner facing Cody at Clash in Italy.
• Backstage, Solo Sikoa asks if Tama Tonga understands the assignment. Shinsuke Nakamura speaks with Tama before he is attacked by Talla Tonga.
• Gunther is upset he now has to earn his title shot, yelling that Aldis should be thankful he is there.
• Carmeo Hayes def. Ricky Saints
• R-Truth speaks with Royce Keys, telling him to fill out an application for the new Judgment Day. Damian Priest walks up after Keys walks away, saying Keys hasn’t earned his trust.
• Danhausen is back in the lab.
• Damian Priest def. Tama Tonga
• Talla Tonga attacks after the match. Solo Sikoa hits the spike on Priest.
• Sami Zayn says things aren’t like they used to be. He’s speaking with Johnny Gargano. “Remember wrestling?” questions Zayn. Candice LeRae is over both of them.
• Jade Cargill says she’ll face Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss interrupt.
• Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair def. B-Fab & Michin via DQ when Cargill attacks Bliss.
• Charlotte confronts Cargill after the match.
• Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, & Lainey Reid) say they are a true group and everyone will fall at their feet.
• Charlotte and Alexa speak backstage. They note they are outnumbered, but Alexa has an idea.
• Solo Sikoa tells Royce Keys they can run SmackDown.
• Undisputed WWE Championship Number One Contenders Match: Gunther def. Royce Keys
• Cody Rhodes lays out Gunther with the Cross Rhodes after the match.
