It was a busy and chaotic week on the road for WWE.
The biggest news was the return to the ring of Triple H, who filled in on Smackdown's South American tour for the final event in Chile after Kevin Owens left the tour for family reasons and AJ Styles was pulled early to replace Bray Wyatt at the Raw brand's TLC pay-per-view. Triple H faced Rusev in singles action in Santiago, Chile, in what marked his first in-ring appearance for WWE since facing Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
With Roman Reigns among those sidelined by illness, Raw shook up its usual lineup, which has been headlined by singles matches between Reigns and Strowman for months. Instead, the two Raw events that preceded TLC were headlined by a tag title match with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defending against Cesaro and Sheamus in a Street Fight. Strowman, meanwhile, took on Finn Balor.
NXT had two crews on the road -- one working through the Southeast and one close to its home base in Florida.
