The Young Bucks: Our Creative Team Is A 24/7 Group Chat

An AEW creative meeting can take place anywhere with WiFi or cell towers.

The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Cody Rhodes have made it clear since All Elite Wrestling was announced; there will be no micromanaging and wrestlers will have creative freedom. With four Executive Vice Presidents and President Tony Khan, AEW will have plenty of voices to pull from as they agree on the final product. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the Young Bucks discussed their creative process alongside Cody, Kenny, and Tony.

"The creative team is essentially a group chat that goes 24 hours a day, seven days a week," said Matt Jackson. "Some people in the group think a bit more traditionally, while others think super outside the box. We always come to some sort of agreement, somewhere in the middle. It’s a recipe that works. The process has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding."

Nick Jackson added, "So far, it’s been pretty good. We all are fantastic at separate things and, when we come together, it all meshes well."

Chris Jericho had similar sentiments, saying that everyone in AEW is on the same page, but ultimately, "the buck stops" with Tony Khan. You can view Jericho's entire comments by clicking here.
