AEW is no stranger to licencing music for talent and the company once again spent money for a special entrance at AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen.
The Elite Squad (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and the Good Brothers) had a Space Jam-themed entrance for their ten-man tag team match against Hangman Page and The Dark Order, complete with Space Jam theme "Ya'll Ready For This?"
According to Matt Jackson on Being The Elite, AEW paid $50,000 to license the song. The gesture was a birthday gift to Nick, who turned 32 on July 28.
The Elite Squad had a full basketball presentation for their entrance as the starting lineup introduction led to the group getting shots up before their match.
Omega even went a step further, channeling Michael Jordan with a tweet sent out following The Elite's victory over The Dark Order.
