Zack Ryder And Persia Pirotta Return On New Z! True Long Island Story, Get Into Limo That Explodes

Zack Ryder and Persia Pirotta returned for a special edition of "Z! True Long Island Story" that quickly went sideways.

Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder, carved out his own success with his YouTube show, "Z! True Long Island Story." The popularity of the show led to Ryder getting a push in WWE, as he won the WWE United States Championship at WWE TLC 2011. The push proved to be fairly short-lived, but Ryder remained with WWE for several more years. He enjoyed flashes of success at different points, as he won the Intercontinental Championship and the Raw Tag Team Championship before he was released in a wave of cuts in 2020.

Since then, Cardons has reinvented himself on the independent scene, and he has won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship and the GCW World Championship, among other titles. In recent months, he has aligned with Steph De Lander, formerly known as Persia Pirotta in WWE. De Lander was released by WWE in another wave of cuts in April 2022, but she has been having a prominent run on the independent scene as well.

In a tweet, Cardona posted a video and announced that Zack Ryder and Persia Pirotta were back for the return of Z! True Long Island Story. The video then began like many episodes of the actual "Z! true Long Island Story" series, with Ryder introducing himself to the viewers. He then told Pirotta to get a room, and the camera panned to Persia, who was kissing someone. She then argued with Ryder.

Zack Ryder: Welcome everyone to Z! True Long Island Story. I am your host, the Internet Champion, ‘Long Island Iced Z’ Zack Ryder. Hey, Persia! Get a room.

Persia Pirotta: Shut the fuck up, I’m trying to do my job.

ZR: You’re not the Broski of the Week. You’re the Hoeski of the Week.

PP: Hoeski of the Week? I’m the Hoeski of the Week.

ZR: Are you serious, bro?

Ryder went over to Pirotta, and she kicked him below the belt, Persia then took the Internet Chamionship and ran away with it.

PP: Fuck you, I’m the Internet Champion. I’m starting my own YouTube channel.

Ryder chased Persia outside, and she goaded him on by calling herself the real Internet Champion. He fired back, and Pirotta fled into a white limo that was nearby.

PP: Come on, you jobber. I’m the real Internet Champion.

ZR: Yeah? I’m gonna fist-pump your face.

Ryder followed her, and shortly after he got into the vehicle, the camera cut to the footage of a limo exploding. The video was clearly from the WWE angle where Vince McMahon faked his death by getting into an exploding limo.
