The King of the World takes the cup.
CMLL hosted a new edition of their weekly show "Viernes Espectacular" from Arena Mexico on May 23, 2025. The event was headlined by the finals of the 2025 Copa Jr. VIP Tournament.
Zandokan Jr. & Máscara Dorada went at it in an intense, hard-hitting, and dynamic affair. Despite Máscara Dorada being close to picking up the win, Zandokan's onslaught proved too much to handle. After kicking out of a Shooting Star Press, Zanokan Jr. tossed Mascara Dorada with a Buckle Bomb onto an exposed turnbuckle before hitting a Package Tiger Driver to pick up the pinfall win.
This was the first time Zandokan had competed in the Copa Jr. VIP, and his first cup in his career. This was also Dorada's second tournament final loss, previously losing the 2024 Gran Alternativa Tag Tournament alongside Neón against Brillante Jr. & Místico.
