This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT! We are just 3 days away from NXT TakeOver Orlando and the last stop before Saturday is set to be a good one as in our main event, Kassius Ohno takes on The Drifter, Elias Samson in a Loser Leaves NXT Match! We also have a triple threat match between Johnny Gargano, Akam and Dash Wilder as well as the re-debut of Heavy Machinery and much more so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for all of the action!
Johnny Gargano vs Dash Wilder vs Akam
Akam fights off both Wilder and Gargano repeatedly until they kick him out of the ring. Gargano drops Dash repeatedly, then hits a rolling enzuigiri before Akam comes back in and drops him from behind. Dawson pulls Wilder out of the ring and The Revival regroup as we go to commercial.
Akam beats on Gargano, then puts him in a torture rack before he fights out of it. Gargano comes back with a series of strikes and running forearms before he dives through the middle rope and hits a spear for a near fall. Gargano hits a series of chops in the corner before Akam comes out and drops him with a clothesline. Gargano superkicks him repeatedly for a near fall before Rezar pulls Johnny out of the ring. Akam hits a powerbomb, then Dawson grabs the ankle of Akam while Dash comes in and pins Gargano for the win.
Winner: Dash Wilder via pinfall
-We get another vignette for Aleister Black who is set to debut this Saturday night against Andrade Almas.
Heavy Machinery vs Enhancement Talent
Otis and Tucker put one of them in a near hug repeatedly, tossing him between them, then they kill the other one with a diving headbutt and elbow drop combo. The one in blue is revealed as Marshall and he's quick to be dropped repeatedly by Otis who then is sent over the top rope before Tucker suplexes Otis onto the one in red for the pin and the win.
Winner: Heavy Machinery via pinfall
-We then have a taped segment where Asuka and Ember Moon sign the contract for their match, each sitting on one side of a table with Regal in the middle. Asuka then asks if she's ready and Ember says that she's been ready for a long time before Asuka grabs her belt and leaves.
-We then get a prolonged video package for Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura, then AOP cut a promo about their triple threat title match this Saturday night.
Kassius Ohno VS Elias Samson Loser Leaves NXT Match
They lock up to start the match, then Ohno takes Samson down repeatedly for a series of quick two counts. Ohno gets out of a headlock and drops Samson with a series of shoulder tackles, then hits a senton for a quick two count. Samson rolls to the outside, then Ohno dives over the top rope and takes him out before Samson sends him into the ring steps as we go to commercial.
Samson hits Ohno with clubbing blows in the corner, then hits a scoop slam for a quick two count as we come back from commercial. Samson locks in a cross face, but Ohno gets to the ropes, then they exchange strikes before Samson clotheslines Ohno for a near fall. Ohno hits a jumping knee, then a discus boot for a near fall. Samson rolls Ohno up with his feet on the ropes, then Ohno goes for a discus lariat, but Samson hits a jumping knee for a near fall. Ohno then hits a discus elbow for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kassius Ohno via pinfall
-Samson is escorted up the ramp by security, then Kassius grabs Samson' s guitar and stomps on it as we go off the air.
