WWE Tag Team Say They're Disbanding, Entering WWE Draft Separately

Even though teams can be selected collectively in Tuesday's WWE draft, one duo says that they've opted to go their separate ways.

In a video posted to WWE's Facebook, Sin Cara and Kalisto, the Lucha Dragons, mentioned that they've made the choice to enter the draft separately. The two have teamed together since July of 2014, and would later go on to win the NXT Tag Team Titles by unseating The Ascension.

"As everybody knows, the draft is coming tomorrow night on Smackdown, and the Lucha Dragons have decided to enter the draft as singles competitors," said Sin Cara in the video.

Kalisto and Sin Cara have been a sporadic tag team over the past several months. This was in part to Kalisto's success as a singles wrestler, which saw him become a two-time United States Champion and perform on WrestleMania solo. Sin Cara also competed on the card by himself, in the Intercontinental Title ladder match.

"You know what, the important thing? No matter what, we'll remain brothers. We're going to display our art, either on Raw or Smackdown," Kalisto added.
