Another busy week on the road for the major promotions in North America is in the books.
Raw held a couple of events to warm up for its Extreme Rules pay-per-view that featured Roman Reigns victorious in main events against Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe, respectively. Meanwhile, over on Smackdown, Jinder Mahal defended the WWE Title against AJ Styles at two of the three live events.
NXT held a trio of shows close to its home base in Florida and then, on Monday, kicked off its tour of the United Kingdom with a June 5 event in Scotland headlined by countryman Drew McIntyre challenging Bobby Roode for the NXT Title. The NXT Florida loop included a stop in Ocala where, as has become the custom as of late, Dory Funk, Jr., made an appearance and seconded Roderick Strong and No Way Jose in the main event tag match. The NXT Florida shows also marked a match for Nick Miller, one half of TM-61, in singles action. Neither Miller nor Shane Thorne, who seconded Miller, has wrestled for WWE since Thorne injured his knee back in January.
Meanwhile, ROH held a house show in Collinsville, IL, where both the ROH World Title and Tag Titles were defended.
