Dana White Said He Called The FBI Immediately After Isaac Dulgarian Fight

At UFC Fight Night on November 1st, Isaac Dulgarian lost to Yadier del Valle by first round submission. The fight set off alarm bells as Dulgarian went from a a -250 favorite to a -154 favorite, and money came in on him to lose in the first round.

Dulgarian has been accused of throwing the fight, and his purse has been withheld by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, pending an investigation.

Speaking to TMZ, UFC President Dana White spoke on the accusations.

“About 1 o’clock that day, we’re with IC360, the best bet monitoring company in the business. They reached out and told us there was unusual action with that fight and if we knew anything. We didn’t. We called the fighter and his lawyer. ‘What’s going on? There is weird betting action on your fight. Are you injured? Do you owe money? Has anyone approached you?’ He said, ‘No, absolutely not. I’m going to kill this guy.’ The fight plays out. First round finish. Literally, the first thing we did was call the FBI. I’ve met with the FBI twice today,” stated Dana.

Dana shot down the idea that 100 fights are being investigated, calling it bullshit, and praised IC360.

“When this did happen a couple of years ago. That investigation is still ongoing and will be part of this investigation too.”

Dana said he talked to FBI Director Kash Patel on Tuesday morning.

“If you try to do this. We will be your worst enemy. We will immediately go after you guns blazing with the FBI and we will do everything we can to make sure you go to prison,” said Dana.

Dana also wondered why fighters who now claim they were approached to fix fights didn’t tell the UFC or the FBI at the time.

“They’re going to be approached now by the FBI,” stated Dana.

Dana said he hates to see anybody in the sport do anything illegal, “But fight fixing is absolutely insane.”

Dana said he’s not saying Dulgarian is guilty, and that there is no proof, but it doesn’t look good.
