Matt Rehwoldt recalls his One Night In Milwaukee storyline.

During his feud with Rusev in 2018, Matt Rehwoldt (Aiden English) claimed that he had some damning footage of Lana from an incident in Milwaukee. Eventually, the video was revealed as a big scam on Rehwoldt’s part, salvaging the relationship of Rusev and Lana.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Rehwoldt talked about his character’s intentions and mindset during the storyline.

“The world may never know. Look, it’s on a videotape. I’d like to think it was me doing a really bad self taped monologue to try to get on to like the Surreal Life or something like that. Like in my character’s head canon, that’s what he was doing. But he was just really desperate for it to not come out. He was hoping it didn’t. It was like a bluff. I don’t want to have to show you this. I don’t want have to just give me what I want. I don’t want to have to show you this and then his buff gets called and it’s just him cutting this weird monologue.”
