Sami Zayn: I’m Definitely Closer To The End Than The Beginning Of My Career
Sami Zayn is grateful to still be a part of wrestling.
2026 is the 25th year of Zayn’s in-ring career, which spans across promotions like Ring Of Honor, PWG, Dragon Gate, and of course, WWE.
Speaking with Witty Whittier for a new interview, Zayn was reflecting and expressing gratitude for his career when he admitted that he is definitely closer to the end of his career than the beginning.
“I’ve been lucky that WWE and my time in this business has been more than a blip, but I realize that this time will probably be coming to an end within the next — I don’t want to put a number of years on it, but definitely closer to the end than the beginning. So, I’m just very very grateful to be a part of it still.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Sami Zayn talked about the strange vibe surrounding WrestleMania 42. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
Zayn and Williams will clash once again at the Backlash premium live event on Saturday, May 9. Check out the full lineup for that show by clicking here.
