The Undertaker Speaks About WWE’s Presentation Of AAA: “What We’re Trying To Do Is Have That Lucha Style & Then Also Wrap A Story Around It”
The Undertaker discusses the current presentation of AAA.
It has been over a year since WWE announced their acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Currently leading the creative charge for the brand is The Undertaker.
While on his Six Feet Under podcast, the Hall of Famer discussed the presentation of AAA under the WWE banner.
“It’s not just high-flying now. What I can see happening and what we’re trying to do is have that lucha style and then also wrap a story around it. Instead of it just being a spectacle and having these two dudes do incredible moves, if we can wrap a story inside of it, make all that make sense, I think it’s gonna be a win-win and a huge growth opportunity for people.”
The next special for AAA is Verano de Escandalo, set for July 25th at Arena San Marcos. In September, there will be a two-night Triplemanía with night one taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and night two taking place in Mexico.
