On the July 6th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, a night long storyline would take place, beginning with Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn having words with each other upon arriving at the arena before Gunther would launch a sneak attack on Cody, forcing him out of the WWE title match scheduled for last night. With Cody out, the title match would still go on, as CM Punk would replace Cody in a title opportunity that ‘fell out of the sky’ for him in his hometown of Chicago. Punk would go on to score the victory and add another world title to his trophy cabinet.

In a new social media post, long time hater of CM Punk, KENTA, would react to Punk winning the title, noting that he ‘hates seeing’ Punk winning the WWE Championship.

“I hate seeing this”

Over the past several years, KENTA has been a staple of Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan.

Following his championship victory in Chicago, Punk would go home and put his title in his fridge. You can read more about that here.
