Conor McGregor Wants Max Holloway Fight Overturned To A No Contest

Max Holloway defeated Conor McGregor by TKO at UFC 329 when McGregor couldn’t continue after suffering a leg injury on the opening strike.

McGregor charged out with a jumping switch kick, and his leg gave out. He tried to continue, but could barely stand or move, and the referee stopped the fight just 69 seconds in. McGregor didn’t land a single significant strike, while Holloway only landed a handful of strikes on the ground.

On social media, McGregor stated that he would get a scan on his leg on Thursday, and stated that the fight should be overturned to a no contest with all bets returned.

Conor McGregor has already vowed to return for the final fight on his UFC contract.

UFC 329 was McGregor’s first fight in five years after breaking his tibia in the cage against Dustin Poirier.
