Carmella Says She Is Retired, ‘I Can’t Wrestle Anymore’
Carmella confirms that she is retired.
Speaking on her Hot Mom Shit podcast, Carmella welcomed business woman and author Laura Clery as they discussed relationships, mom life, and more.
Speaking during the conversation, Carmella was discussing her relationship with husband Corey Graves, saying, “We worked together and met through work. We worked together all the time, and then we were home. I related a little bit to your book when you were saying, ‘Our dates were half romance, half business planning.’ We did that. Luckily, I don’t…I’m retired now. It’s definitely a little bit different.”
When Clery noted that she loves that Carmella is retired, Carmella said, “I was a professional wrestler. I can’t wrestle anymore. I’m a mom. I have kids. I’m retired.”
She hasn’t wrestled since 2023 when she stepped away to give birth to her first child with Graves. She suffered from drop foot after her first pregnancy. They welcomed their second child in October 2025.
She is a former SmackDown Women’s Champion, Women’s Tag Team Champion, and Money in the Bank winner.
