Xelina Still Has The Urge To Bring A World Title To Her Father At The 9/11 Memorial

Xelina still has a major goal in mind.
After winning the Women’s United States Championship in 2025, the former Zelina Vega had the opportunity to bring the title to the 9/11 memorial in New York. Xelina’s father, Michael Trinidad, is a part of that memorial.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Xelina said that she still wants to bring a world title to her father’s memorial.
“Even though I got to bring the United States Championship to the 9/11 Memorial, I still have this urge to bring him a world title. I don’t know where that title comes from — I don’t know if it’s WWE. I left WWE in 2020, I came back, and now I’m gone again, and who knows what happens. But if it’s not with WWE, that doesn’t mean it can’t be with House of Glory, or TNA, or AEW, or CMLL, or wherever.”
In a separate interview with Busted Open, Xelina reflected on being released from WWE. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
