Welcome to Fightful's live coverage of Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury 2. After more than a year has past since their incredible first encounter that didn't produce a winner, the two heavyweight stars will do battle once again for the WBC heavyweight title.

MAIN CARD
Sebastian Fundora vs. Daniel Lewis
After a decent first round for Fundora, he struggled at times to utilize his massive height and reach advantage to the best of his abilities. Fundora's left hand landed a lot on the right side of Lewis' face, causing the underside of his eye to swell. Lewis managed to bring the fight to the inside and bust up Fundora's nose, causing it to bleed. There were a lot of punches thrown in the bout, but the crowd didn't seem interested in the action. The scorecards were perhaps a little misleading because the fight was closer than what the scores seemed to indicate but the right man (Fundora) won. Fundora will have to stop fighting on the inside and use his length to his advantage. Regardless, he will also have to work on building up his lower body to better prepare himself for big punchers down the road.

WBO Super Bantamweight Championship: Emanuel Navarrete (c) vs. Jeo Santisima
Navarrete seemed sluggish against an overmatched opponent in Santisima. Navarrete dominated nearly the entirety of this fight, save for Santisima landing a solid left hook that pushed Navarrete back towards the end of the fifth round. From that point forward, it was stop-and-go for Navarrete in terms of pressuring his opponent. Navarrete then turned up the pressure in the 10th round and stopped his opponent in the 11th round. Before the fight, there was some talk about this fight being Navarrete's last at this weight class. If this is it for Navarrete as a super bantamweight, it's been a weird title run for Navarrete. He had two great wins over Isaac Dogboe in 2018 and 2019 and was very active, but his fights post-Dogboe were complete mismatches. Navarrete has a lot of upside and a move up in weight could be very beneficial for his career.

IBF Heavyweight Title Eliminator: Charles Martin vs. Gerald Washington
Prior to the sixth round, this fight was borderline unwatchable. Both fighters barely did anything exciting and on paper, it was what many expected to happen. Martin landed a beautiful left hook to Washington's chin in the sixth round to send him to the canvas. Washington got back up, but he did not look like he recovered at all and the referee stops the fight, which is the right call. Martin will wait a very long time before he even sniffs at the IBF heavyweight title, currently being held by Anthony Joshua. Kubrat Pulev is the current mandatory challenger for the IBF title and so, the IBF won't force Joshua to fight Martin until 2021 at the earliest.

WBC Heavyweight Championship: Deontay Wilder (c) vs. Tyson Fury
Round 1: Wilder opens up with a couple of left jabs and Fury is pressuring Wilder back. Fury barely connects with a right jab, but Wilder then lands a right jab in response. Fury throws a small flurry of punches and Wilder manages to block the majority of those punches. Opening the fight, the crowd is definitely pro-Fury, but neither man landed a devastating punch so far. Fury was slightly more active and effective.

Round 2: Fury connects with a left jab, followed by another one that pushed Wilder back. Wilder responds by landing another right jab. Wilder went for a 1-2 combination, but Fury managed to duck under those punches and avoid getting hit. Wilder is starting to string together solid, consecutive jabs on Fury’s face. Fury landed another left jab and then a short right hook to the side of Wilder’s head. The round ends with Wilder landing a right and Fury throwing a couple of punches.

Round 3: Fury lands a big right uppercut to Wilder’s chin and Wilder is knocked off balance, but he doesn’t go down. Both men clinch and trade punches on the inside. Fury lands another short left jab, followed by a right. Fury connects on another 1-2 combination upstairs. Fury then drops Wilder late in the round and Wilder is struggling mightily to end the round, but he survives.

Round 4: Both men briefly clinch to open the round and Wilder is missing punches. Wilder misses a punch and goes down, but it isn’t called a knockdown. Fury connects with a body punch and Wilder is still not 100 percent following the knockdown from the last round. Fury is aggressive and tries to score a big shot again. Wilder is pressured to the ropes again and tagged with another right hand from Fury.

Round 5: Fury lands another big shot on Wilder to open the round and Wilder is trying to clinch with Fury. Fury is putting his weight on Wilder during their clinch and Fury drops Wilder again. Fury continues to be on the attack and Wilder is in rough shape. Wilder cannot land a single punch in this round and is hanging on for dear life. Fury is docked a point for pushing Wilder down.

Round 6: Fury is landing multiple body shots on Wilder. Fury pressures Wilder multiple times in the round, pushing him to the ropes. Wilder is bleeding from the ear and his mouth and still struggling to do anything in this round. Fury, during a clinch, licks Wilder to taste his blood. Very bizarre sequence at the end of the round.

Round 7: Wilder is pacing himself moving backwards, but is not putting his hands up. Fury continues to pressure the WBC champion and Wilder has no answer for Fury. Wilder has yet to properly set up the right hand that has given so many victories. Fury pressures Wilder into the corner, throwing a big flurry of punches and the fight is stopped! Fury is the new WBC Heavyweight Champion!
