Alexander Gustafsson Not Sure Who Can Beat Jon Jones

Alexander Gustafsson and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones have fought twice before, with Jones pulling out victories at UFC 165 and UFC 232.

While there are a lot of contenders that can potentially challenge Jones, one thing Gustafsson isn’t sure of is who can actually beat him.

“Till now, I am not certain there is someone to beat him,” Gustafsson told MMA Junkie. “But like with everything, there will come somebody.”

Jones has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came by DQ to Matt Hamill at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale in December of 2009.

Gustafsson also recognizes that there are a lot of changes happening at light heavyweight right now in the UFC, which is something he believes a lot of fighters need to focus on.

“The division is really interesting now, as there are lot of young guns coming up in the rankings – and also middleweights moving up,” Gustafsson said. “It is really interesting times now. So we old dogs needs to work harder.”

There is no word yet on who is going to be challenging Jones next for the title, as he recently defended it against Thiago Santos at UFC 239.
