Former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov's MMA promotion has a main event for it's debut in the United States.

Spong, 36, will be making his return to MMA for the first-time in over eight years but made his mark in kickboxing and is an undefeated professional boxer.

The 41-year old Silva is an 11-fight veteran of the UFC and held titles in Cage Warriors and Elite XC.

Per Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans is set to make his return to MMA at the event, though no opponent has yet been confirmed for 'Suga'.

The January 28 event, set for the FLX Arena in Miami, Florida, will mark Eagle FC's first event in the United States. Nurmagomedov purchased the now-former Gorilla Fighting Championship in 2020 and changed the organization's name to Eagle Fighting Championship, which has held 15 events since the takeover, all of which were held in Khabib's home country of Russia.
