Callum Johnson is coming back to the United States for another big light heavyweight fight.

Johnson, a former British champion at 175 pounds, saw his undefeated record suffer its first blemish back in October. On a DAZN card in Chicago, Johnson lost to IBF champion Artur Beterbiev when he was knocked out in the fourth round of their bout. Both men were knocked down earlier in the fight but Johnson ultimately was the one who suffered his first pro defeat. Johnson is currently ranked No. 15 in the official IBF light heavyweight rankings.

Monaghan, a 37-year-old boxer from New York, is also coming off a loss in his last fight. Monaghan lost to Sullivan Barrera by unanimous decision in the main event of a boxing card streamed on Facebook Watch. Monaghan sports a 29-2 record as a pro and is ranked No. 10 in the WBC rankings at 175 pounds.

The main event of that March 9 show is a WBA light heavyweight title fight between Dmitry Bivol and Joe Smith Jr. Another title fight announced for the card is Maurice Hooker vs. Mikkel LesPierre for the WBO junior welterweight world title.
