Charles Oliveira Signs New Eight-Fight Deal With UFC

A new deal for Oliveira.

There’s a story up on the Ag. Fight website about former UFC Lightweight Champion and current BMF Title holder Charles Oliveira signing a new contract with the UFC for eight more fights.

Dhiego Lima, the longtime coach of Oliveira, revealed the news on a podcast hosted by Ag. Fight.

“We renewed the contract; we renewed it for eight more fights. So, we have fights lined up until Charles turns 40. So, for those people who said he was going to retire, wait a little longer (laughs). It was a wonderful, wonderful contract. I have nothing bad to say. It was an incredible negotiation.”

Lima added that Oliveira plans to fight two to three times per year. If he can do that, he’ll complete the eight-fight deal by the time he’s 40.

Oliveira last fought at UFC 326, where he defeated Max Holloway via unanimous decision. Oliveira has a 37-11-1 fight record.
