Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

Number two-ranked bantamweight Cory Sandhagen is slated to face former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar at the promotion's February 6 event, according to ESPN's Ariel Helwani. Sandhagen (13-2) is coming off a second-round TKO of former title challenger Marlon Moraes in October.

Prior to the bout against Moraes, Sandhagen suffered his first loss under the UFC banner when he got submitted by Aljamain Sterling at UFC 250. "The Sandman" still boasts a 6-1 record in the promotion.

Edgar (24-8-1) is coming off of his bantamweight debut, where he defeated Pedro Munhoz by split-decision in August. "The Answer" previously fought in the lightweight and featherweight divisions, including a stint with the UFC lightweight championship from 2010-2012.

Alex Pereira vs. Artem Vakhitov Official For Glory 77

Glory middleweight and interim light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira is set to face Glory light heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov for the undisputed light heavyweight title at Glory 77 on January 30. Pereira (41-6), has most recently fought in MMA, where he picked up his third victory in four fights, when he virally knocked out Thomas Powell at LFA 95 in November.

Vakhitov (20-5) had surgery to repair a nagging hand injury in June of 2019, which has kept him out of action ever since. He last fought at Glory 66 where he won a controversial split-decision over Dogeni Abena to successfully retain his light heavyweight title for the fifth time.

Matheus Nicolau vs. Tagir Ulanbekov Set For UFC 257

Matheus Nicolau is set to return to the UFC at UFC 257 where he will face Tagir Ulanbekov, according to MMA Junkie.

Nicolau (15-2-1), was released from the UFC after getting knocked out by Dustin Ortiz in the first round in July 2018. Since being cut, Nicolau has secured back-to-back wins in Future FC and Brave CF.

Ulanbekov (13-1) has won four consecutive fights including his UFC debut in October where he defeated Bruno Silva by unanimous decision.
