UFC makes a return to Nashville with two perennial contenders atop the card.

A former featherweight in Anthony "Showtime" Pettis didn't hang around in that division long, moving back up to the place where he won a championship in lightweight. However, his remaining days at 155 pounds weren't long for this world, as he's now made the jump to welterweight. In his path is a former title challenger in Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, looking to reclaim his spot as top contender with a fresh champion in the division.

Curtis Blaydes was one win away from a likely UFC title shot until he ran into Francis Ngannou. He'll take on the surging Justin Willis, now 4-0 in the UFC. Both men need a victory to either retain or improve their place in the division.

UFC's Flyweight Division has an uncertain future, but it will still see an important fight with Jussier Formiga takes on undefeated Deiveson Figueiredo on the show. In a fight that hasn't landed on anyone's radar, #15 flyweight-by-default Jordan Espinosa is set to face #12 Eric Shelton

Other notables in action include perennial top 15 names Randa Markos and Angela Hill, as well as a big battle of prospects in JJ Aldrich and Maycee Barber. Meanwhile, former title challenger and Ronda Rousey victim Alexis Davis is on the show as she faces another top-15 fighter in #11 Jennifer Maia.
