Jon Jones: “I Was Hiding From Nevada State Athletic Commission”

Reports surfaced in 2015 that former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones once hid from the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) to avoid a drug test before facing Daniel Cormier for the first time at UFC 182.

Israel Adesanya recently took a shot at Jones for allegedly hiding under a cage to avoid a NAC drug test and Jones would confirm the story on Twitter:

One Championship: Dangal Results: A New Heavyweight Champion Is Crowned!

Adesanya: "Fun Facts! I napped under the cage in 2010 cuz I didn’t wanna waste gas going home so I stayed at the gym till evening training. jonathan stayed under the cage to hide from USADA during a random drug test. This is facts. Y’all must have forgot."

Jones: "Brother explain your titty. I was hiding from Nevada state Athletic Commission, not USADA and that was years ago.. I had just smoked a blunt and was afraid I would fail my test for weed. that’s the actual truth. Now everyone knows everyone."

The former light heavyweight champion would test positive for cocaine before UFC 182 and would enter rehab for a day to get clean.
