Over the weekend it was revealed that Chael Sonnen had been arrested on suspicion of battery, Jon Jones has now reacted to this news in a post on Twitter — this and much more on Monday's social media roundup.
Jon Jones reacts to Chael Sonnen's arrest
Over the last couple of years since Jon Jones started going through his personal troubles, one of his biggest public critics has been his fellow MMA fighter Chael Sonnen.
In the past, whenever news or controversy has come out about Jones, Sonnen has always been one of the first people to publish a video on YouTube or a post to Twitter to bash and criticise Jones.
The tables have now turned in Jones' favour and it was actually Sonnen, who this weekend was arrested on suspicion of battery in Las Vegas. Jones responded to the news on Twitter but not in the way in which fans would expect him to considering how much Sonnen has gone in on him over the years.
See what Jones posted below.
Chael Sonnen, I’m not gonna sit here and celebrate you getting battery charges against a female last night. That would make me like you, and I’m nothing like you. Instead I will wish your family well, I wish the victims family well— BONY (@JonnyBones) December 19, 2021
Despite Sonnen poking fun at Jones' situations over the years, Jones has wished Sonnen and his family well following the incident this weekend.
