Former WBO heavyweight champion, Joseph Parker is scheduled to take on undefeated 2016 Olympic silver medalist, Joe Joyce, on September 24 in the United Kingdom.
ESPN's Mike Coppinger was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, although no official announcement has yet been made regarding the bout. Parker is currently on a six-fight winning streak and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Derek Chisora in their rematch last December. Joyce meanwhile is 14-0 overall as a pro and will look to build on a fourth-round TKO victory over Christian Hammer earlier last month.
