Mariya Agapova Calls Out Maryna Moroz For Next Fight: "I Want To Smash Her"

UFC women's flyweight prospect, Mariya Agapova, made it clear who she wants to face next following her third-round submission win over Sabina Mazo at UFC Vegas 39 this past Saturday night.

Agapova spoke with reporters after the victory over Mazo and called out her former teammate, Maryna Moroz, after claims Moroz made about her back in June of her being kicked out of American Top Team's Coconut Creek, Florida gym due to being a drug addict and threatening to stab people with a knife. Agapova didn't hold back when making her request to fight Moroz next and plans on punishing her for the claims she has made.

“She’s just jealous, and second, she’s sneaky,” Agapova said (h/t MMA Junkie). “She tried to destroy my career. I lost sponsorships because of her interview and got in a big trouble situation, and I would like to punish this b*tch because she tried to destroy my career. I want to smash her. We were training together. We were teammates, and after I left she started lying and talking sh*t about me. I lost a lot of sponsorships. I lost fans. It was not nice. It was super sneaky. I left not because I was a drug addict and threatened someone with a knife. I left because I just argued with some guy and I left. She just talked sh*t about me. She’s a liar and I got pissed off. She also cheated my manager from money. My manager Alex (Davis) is such a good person. He’s super nice and she cheated him from money. She f*cked him up. She’s not a very good person and I would like to beat her ass and smash her face. I think she’s just trying to put me down. I left, I had trouble with my health and she just used my weakness to put me down and destroy my career. This is super sneaky and not nice. I call her to fight, so if you want to talk sh*t, be ready to answer for your words.”

Agapova is 4-1 in her last five Octagon appearances with the victory over Mazo, whereas Moroz is currently on a two-fight winning streak and is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Mayra Bueno Silva at UFC Fight Night 170 back in March 2020.
