The card, set for this summer, doesn't have location or venue officially announced, though it's likely it'll be a Fight Night event at the UFC's Apex facility in Las Vegas, according to UFC President Dana White.

Holloway (22-6) last competed at UFC Fight Island 7 when he took a unanimous decision victory over Calvin Kattar in dominant fashion.

Rodriguez (13-2) hasn't stepped into the UFC's octagon since October 2019 when he was on the right side of a unanimous decision over veteran Jeremy Stephens. Since his last fight, Rodriguez has been released from the UFC before being quickly re-signed and then subsequently suspended for six-months by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency after failing to notify the agency of his location for random drug testing.
