Netflix Making Dana White Documentary

A new documentary on Dana White is coming soon.

Page Six reports that Netflix has greenlit a documentary on UFC President Dana White. The documentary will air in early 2027 and is directed by Gotham Chopra. The project was originally slated to be a documentary on Las Vegas, “but evolved into a story about the 57-year-old promoter who convinced Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta to purchase the UFC in 2001 for $2 million only to sell the company 15 years later to a group led by Endeavor for $4 billion.”

Netflix was close to landing the UFC rights when the promotion left ESPN at the end of 2025, but Paramount+ got the rights in a 7-year, $7.7 billion media rights and streaming deal.

Netflix has the rights to WWE Raw in the US and all WWE programming internationally. The platform has produced a number of WWE shoulder programs including WWE Unreal and a documentary on Vince McMahon.

Fightful will provide more details on the Dana documentary when they are known.
