One Fight Added, One Fight Off & Two Bouts Changed For UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan

The UFC is back in Las Vegas next weekend with UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan and the promotion has issued a press release revealing some changes and addition to the card.

Those two changes will see Gerald Meerschaert replace Da Un Jung against Ed Herman, while Kevin Holland will replace Jun Yong Park against Trevin Giles. There has been no reason yet given by the UFC, Park or Jung as to why they were replaced in their respective bouts.

There is also a new addition to the card and it comes in the form of a lightweight division attraction as Lando Vannata faces Bobby Green. Also, one bout has been removed from the card, with that bout being between Chris Gutierrez and Luke Sanders, but no explanation has been given as to why the fight is off the card.

UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan takes place on Saturday, August 1 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Derek Brunson and Edmen Shahbazyan headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
