A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 239 according to Farah Hannoun as #14 Alejandro Perez is going to be in action against Song Yadong.
Perez (21-7-1) has won four of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Andre Soukhamthath, Iuri Alcantara, Matthew Lopez and Eddie Wineland. Perez has suffered just two defeats in the UFC, with those losses coming against Patrick Williams and Cody Stamann. Perez has seen ten of his twenty nine professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won seven of those encounters.
Yadong (13-3-0-2NC) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, defeating the trio of Bharat Khandare, Felipe Arantes and Vince Morales. Yandong is making his UFC pay-per-view debut in this bout, despite having been with the promotion for almost two years. Yadong hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years and that last loss came against Renat Ondar at WLF – EPIC: Elevation Power In The Cage 9.
