Report: Bethe Correia Faces Pannie Kianzad At UFC 250

A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as #13 Bethe Correia faces Pannie Kianzad.

AG Fight first reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Correia (11-4-1) has only won just two of her last seven bouts in the UFC, with those wins coming over Jessica Eye and Sijara Eubanks. Correia has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 190. Correia has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition.

Kianzad (12-5-0) has picked up wins in one of her three appearances in the UFC, with that lone victory coming over Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Kianzad made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28, losing to Macy Chiasson in the finals. Kianzad has competed a total of seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of those bouts went the distance.

UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
