A heavyweight division attraction has been rebooked for the recently announced UFC card on July 18 as Carlos Felipe faces Serghei Spivac.
Combate first reported the news, as the two fighters were originally set to meet at UFC 250, when the card was originally set for May 9.
Felipe (8-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over five years. Felipe has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went past the opening round. Felipe has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Spivak (10-2-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Tai Tuivasa at UFC 243. Spivak is undefeated when competing on UFC pay-per-view cards, but is winless when competing on Fight Night cards. Spivak has competed a total of twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
The yet to be announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, July 18 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
