A women’s featherweight fight between attraction Cat Zingano and Gabby Holloway joins the lineup of Bellator 245.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN first reported the bout.
Zingano (10-4-0) is making her Bellator debut and does so on a 1-4 run. Zingano previously challenged for the UFC women’s bantamweight title, losing to then-champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 184. Zingano has not picked up a victory in over two years. Her last win comes against Marion Reneau in July 2018.
Holloway (6-5-0) has won just one of three under the Bellator banner. Her lone win is against Alexis Dufresne at Bellator 174. Holloway has not competed since Bellator 174 in March 2017. Holloway has suffered all of her professional MMA defeats by decision, plus half of her wins by the same method.
Bellator 245 takes place on Friday, September 11 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Phil Davis vs. Lyoto Machida headlines the card. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
