A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Shenzhen according to MMA Fighting as Damir Ismagulov is in action against Thiago Moises.
Ismagulov (18-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Alex Gorgees and Joel Alvarez. Ismagulov is a former M-1 Challenge Lightweight Champion and he relinquished the title upon signing with the UFC in 2018. Ismagulov will enter the contest while in the midst of a thirteen fight winning streak and he hasn?t suffered a defeat in almost four years.
Moises (12-3-0) has won one of two thus far in UFC competition, with that lone win coming against Kurt Holobaugh at UFC 237. Moises also competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Brazil Episode 3, defeating Gleidson Moraes Cutis by way of first round TKO. Moises has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Shenzhen takes place on Saturday, August 31 from the Shenzhen Sports Centre Arena in Shenzhen, China with Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
