A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC 251 as Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos faces Muslim Salikhov.
Combate first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the preliminary card.
Dos Santos (22-6-0) has won eight of ten fights under the UFC banner, with notable wins coming over Omari Akhmedov, Lyman Good, Sean Strickland, Curtis Millender and Alexey Kunchenko. Dos Santos has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came to past and/or current UFC fighters. Dos Santos has picked up twenty two wins as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Salikhov (16-2-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, picking up wins over Ricky Rainey, Nordine Taleb and Laureano Staropoli. Salikhov is competing for the first time this year, with his last bout taking place in October of last year. Salikhov has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came by way of submission.
