A women?s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC 238 according to Combate as #12 Felice Herrig is in action against Yan Xiaonan.
Herrig (14-8-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Michelle Waterson. Herrig hasn?t earned a victory in over a year, with that last win coming against Cortney Casey at UFC 218. Herrig has seen her last five bouts go the distance and it has been almost three years since the fighter got a finish.
Xiaonan (10-1-0-1NC) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating the trio of Kailin Curran, Viviane Pereira and Syuri Kondo. Xiaonan has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter, with five coming by way of KO/TKO and five coming by way of decision. Xiaonan has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Karina Hallman at Martial Combat 10 in September of 2010.
