A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 237 according to MMA Fighting as Francisco Trinaldo is in action against Carlos Diego Ferreira.
Trinaldo (23-6-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, with the latest fight being a second round knockout win over Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. Trinaldo is competing on a pay-per-view card for the first time in three years, with his last such appearance coming at UFC 198 in May of 2016. Trinaldo has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come during UFC competition.
Ferreira (15-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a four fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over four years. Ferreira has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with those defeats coming at the hands of Dustin Poirier and Beneil Dariush. Ferreira has seen seven of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter has won six of those encounters.
