Report: Jim Miller vs. Vinc Pichel Slated For UFC 252

Lightweight veterans will clash at UFC 252 as Jim Miller squares off with Vinc Pichel.

Miller (32-14-0-1NC) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner. Those wins came over Jason Gonzalez, Clay Guida and Roosevelt Roberts. Miller is back on a UFC pay-per-view card for the first time in almost two years. His last such appearance took place at UFC 228. The tap out machine has won four consecutive fights by submission. In fact, it has been almost four years since Miller did not get a submission victory.

Pichel (12-2-0) has won five of his last six in the UFC. He holds notable wins over Anthony Njokuani, Damien Brown and the aforementioned Roberts. Pichel is competing for the first time in over a year. His last bout took place at UFC Fight Night Minneapolis in June 2019. Pichel also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Al Iaquinta.

UFC 252 takes place on Saturday, August 15 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. A rubber match between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier will headline the card. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on pay-per-view.
