A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Busan as Said Nurmagomedov is in action against Raoni Barcelos.
AG Fight first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Nurmagomedov (13-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated the duo of Justin Scoggins and Ricardo Ramos. Nurmagomedov has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Magomed Bibulatov at ACB Grand Prix Berkut 9 in June of 2014. Nurmagomedov has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them have come by way of submission.
Barcelos (14-1-0) is also undefeated in the UFC, with his wins coming over Kurt Holobaugh, Chris Gutierrez and Carlos Huachin. Barcelos is a former RFA Featherweight Champion, defeating Ricky Musgrave at RFA 29 to claim the gold. Barcelos has competed fifteen times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Busan takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Sakij Arena in Busan, South Korea with Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
