A welterweight division attraction could be coming to UFC Fight Night Atlantic City according to Farah Hannoun as Siyar Bahadurzada faces Luan Chagas.
Bahadurzada (23-6-1) enters the bout on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Brandon Thatch and Rob Wilkinson. Bahadurzada has only competed five times during his five-plus year tenure with the UFC, once taking a three year break in between bouts. Bahadurzada has earned all three of his wins in the UFC by KO/TKO or submission, but suffered all of the losses in the promotion by way of decision.
Chagas (15-2-1) has won just one of three bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Jim Wallhead at UFC 212. Chagas has only seen just one of his professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against Sergio Moraes at UFC 198. Chagas is fighting outside of Brazil for the first time in his UFC tenure, which began almost two years ago.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City takes place on Saturday, April 21 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with broadcast plans yet to be announced.
