A pair of bouts have been added to UFC Fight Island 6 as no. 7 Volkan Oezdemir faces no. 9 Nikita Krylov and Jamie Mullarkey takes on Fares Ziam.
MMA Junkie first reported Oezdemir vs. Krylov, while the Daily Telegraph first reported Mullarkey vs. Ziam. Oezdemir (17-5-0) has won two of his last six in the UFC, with those wins coming over Ilir Latifi and Aleksandar Rakic. Krylov (27-7-0) has won two of four in his second run with the UFC, with those victories coming over Ovince St. Preux and Johnny Walker.
Mullarkey (12-3-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a fight to Brad Riddell at UFC 243. Ziam (10-3-0) is also winless thus far in UFC competition, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Don Madge at UFC 242.
UFC Fight Island 6 takes place on Saturday, October 17 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
