Report: Tyrell Fortune Faces Timothy Johnson At Bellator 233

Fortune (7-0-0) has competed in Bellator MMA for his entire professional MMA career, which began at Bellator 163 in November of 2016. Fortune has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance. Fortune has earned a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those victories came by way of KO/TKO.

Johnson (12-6-0) is winless thus far in Bellator MMA competition, having dropped bouts to the duo of Vitaly Minakov and Cheick Kongo. Johnson won four of seven in UFC competition, with those wins coming over Shamil Abdurakhimov, Marcin Tybura, Daniel Omielanczuk and Marcelo Golm. Johnson hasn’t picked up a victory in almost two years, with his last victory coming in February of 2018. 

Bellator 233 takes place on Friday, November 8 from the Winstar World Resort & Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Costello Van Steenis and John Salter headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
