Bellator president Scott Coker is threatening legal action against Ben Askren after he claimed that Bellator MMA is for sale.

In the wake of Jake Paul and Askren agreeing to fight, Coker picked Paul to knock Askren out. This appears to have set off the "Funky" one.

Coker did not take the claims that Bellator is up for sale lightly. In a statement to MMA Fighting, the Bellator President said he was considering pursuing legal action against the former Bellator champion.

“He’s making a very serious accusation that’s untrue,” Coker said “I’m meeting with my lawyers later today to discuss our options.”

Coker not only refuted that Viacom was looking tell, but also that they can't find a buyer.

“There’s probably been five, six offers for Bellator since I’ve been there – in the last few years – and Viacom turned them all down,” Coker said.
