Sheymon Moraes Wants To Get First UFC Finish At UFC Fight Night Philadelphia

Sheymon Moraes returns to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia, facing Sodiq Yusuff in a featherweight division attraction.

The featherweight prospect doesn’t just want to get a win on Saturday Night, but his first finish in the UFC as well.

“I’m hoping I can knock him out or win by choke or something,” Moraes said at the UFC Fight Night Philadelphia media day (via Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie). “But at the end of the result is going to be the same, my arm raised.”

Moraes has picked up two wins under the UFC banner and both of them came by way of decision.

One thing the fighter knows is that all the competition he has faced in the UFC has been really tough.

“All the guys I’m fighting are really tough,” Moraes said. “It’s good that I get more confidence in the octagon, more time inside the octagon. It makes a total difference than when you’re in the UFC. Everything is different. I feel happy, I feel confident and I’m ready.”

UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
