Colby Covington has once again gone after the UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman by telling him to "show the world some balls" and fight him — this and much more on Friday's social media roundup.
Colby Covington goes after Kamaru Usman on Instagram
Top UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington has not fought since getting a dominant victory over the divisions former champion Tyron Woolley in 2020. Covington has had chances to fight other contenders such as Leon Edwards and Stephen Thompson but instead has opted to wait for a rematch with Kamaru Usman after the two had a very entertaining and close first fight.
With Usman currently booked to have a rematch with Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261 later this month, it has left Covington in a difficult position because he will not be able to fight until probably the end of the year or maybe even early 2022.
Covington has now took matters into his own hands and decided to go after Usman on Instagram.
In the post above Covington launched a verbal attack on Usman telling him to "show the world some balls" and fight him.
Do you think Covington is right or do you think he does need to show Usman some activity before he gets a rematch?
Jon Jones makes light of his situation with Dana White
Since Francis Ngannou finished Stipe Miocic at UFC 260, talk around a fight between Ngannou and Jon Jones have intensified because Jones has made it very clear that he will only fight Ngannou for a heavy price, and rightly so.
This situation has caused a big feud between Jones and the UFC president Dana White on fighter pay.
Jones has now made light of the situation on Twitter.
Do you think a fight between Jones and Ngannou will actually happen one day?

Aljamain Sterling gets horrifying flashbacks
Just a few days ago, the former UFC flyweight king Demetrious Johnson was knocked out fighting for ONE. The method of the KO was due to a downed knee to the head which is legal in ONE.
Rumours have it that Aljamain Sterling was horrified by the KO and had scarring flashbacks to the night he took a knee to the head from Petr Yan.

Just a few of the names who have suffered KO losses in 2020 so far
So far in 2020, the MMA world has been shocked many times by the results and finishes of fights.
Most noticeably, some of the greatest of all time including Stipe Miocic, Demetrious Johnson and Conor McGregor have all been finished so far this year.
Oh, and also Petr Yan... Probably according to Aljamain Sterling.
