A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 254 as Stefan Struve is in action against Tai Tuivasa.
The bout was announced by the UFC Australia/New Zealand Twitter page.
Struve (29-12-0) has won just one of his last five under the UFC banner with that lone win coming over Marcos Rogerio De Lima at UFC Fight Night Prague. Struve hasn’t earned a victory in almost two years, as the aforementioned win over De Lima came in February of 2019. Struve has competed 41 times as a professional MMA fighter and just five of those bouts went the distance.
Tuivasa (9-3-0) enters the contest riding a three-fight losing streak, dropping fights to the trio of Junior Dos Santos, Blagoy Ivanov and Sergey Spivak. Tuivasa hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with his last coming over Andrei Arlovski at UFC 225. Tuivasa has picked up eight of nine wins by KO/TKO, with another victory coming by way of decision.
